Before and entering the war

PREWAR FILE // Shadow Tier originates in Wolf’s earlier career and personal war against the cartel ecosystem that contributed to his father’s death. The unit gives Wolf and Elle a preexisting network of people accustomed to compartmented operations, high-risk missions, and one another’s strengths before World War III reaches Wyoming.

Shadow Tier is continuity infrastructure. It explains why the Wyoming resistance can begin with more than angry civilians and why Wolf and Elle already possess a trusted cadre capable of moving quickly when regular systems fail. Gone Native is the bridge that brings that outside-series history into Mongol Moon.
